Created in 1997, ATOP comprises
18 Tour Operators located in
the USA.
The main objectives of ATOP
are:
- Raise the awareness of
the American tourist to Portugal
as a holiday destination.
- Consolidation of promotional
budgets in order to create
a real impact in marketing
and advertising strategy.
- Coordination of marketing
strategies.
- joint promotion of holiday
packages to Portugal offered
by each member.

to Portugal (ATOP) is an organization
of major
U.S.-based tour operators with
a strong commitment to organizing

environmental standards, and
