Day 1: New York / Funchal,
Madeira Islands
Depart the USA on your
overnight flight to Funchal
airport, via Lisbon.
Day 2 Funchal, Madeira
Islands / Madeira: Arrive
at Funchal airport. A
transfer to your choice
of hotel will be provided.
Rest of day at leisure.
Day 3 Madeira: Today's
optional half-day sightseeing
tour includes a nice introduction
to the city. Our first
stop will be at the Regional
Market for a interesting
visit where you will see
a large variety of fish,
fruits and vegetables.
We will continue onto
the Botanical Gardens
where you will marvel
over a countless number
of beautiful tropical
flowers and plants as
well as the magnificent
panoramic view over Funchal.
On the way back to the
hotels, there will be
also a visit to a Embroidery
factory. During the course
of the tour you will also
be presented with a taste
of the famous Madeira
Wine.
Day 4 to Day 7 Madeira:
Take advantage of optional
tours on your free days
to visit the mountainous
interior and see Curral
das Freiras, or along
the scenic northenr coast
to Porto Moniz. Take hiking
trails or just relax in
a cafe!
Day 8 Funchal, Madeira
Islands / New York
Transfer from your hotel
to Funchal airport for
your return flight home.
